Tony Baker
Elder
Tony Baker serves as an elder at Beach Community Church. He and his wife Francislyn, along with their daughter Savanahlyn, now live in Dallas, Texas, but still consider Brasilito their home.
Tony and Francislyn met in Tamarindo in 2019 and married in November 2020. Their early years together brought unexpected challenges. Tony traveled to the United States for surgery shortly before the pandemic, and border closures kept them apart for eight months. Meanwhile, Savanahlyn was in the Philippines with her grandparents. In April 2022, Tony and Francislyn finally arrived to surprise her just days before her 13th birthday. Through separation, uncertainty and reunion, they experienced God's provision and faithfulness.
Together, Tony and Francislyn previously led BCC's Wheelchair Ministry for two years, helping provide nearly 50 wheelchairs to people in the community. Tony continues serving as an elder and helping maintain the church website.
Professionally, Tony is a digital marketing consultant working with artificial intelligence and faith-based technology. The family has launched WWJD Global Outreach, a faith-tech ministry at WWJD.COM. Through practical service and new technology alike, their desire is to help people grow in faith and share the hope of Christ.
