Wheelchair Program

BCC members work with our friends in the local community to identify individuals that are in need of a wheelchair for mobility due to health issues. Over the past few years we have placed more than 60 wheelchairs with needy individuals at no cost to the recipients. We visit the family to document the need, help plan for wheelchair access to their home and means of transportation , and then deliver, assemble, and adjust the wheelchairs. The wheelchairs are made available free of charge through a philanthropic organization sponsored by the owners of the Do It Center in Liberia, and we are grateful for their continued sponsorship.
